LONDON – (29th July 2026) – As travel demand continues to evolve across Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia and Africa (EMEA), Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is accelerating strategic expansion across the region, responding to growing demand for experience-led travel, emerging destinations and internationally recognised hotel brands.

During the first half of 2026, Wyndham EMEA signed 25 hotels and opened 13 hotels across EMEA, reinforcing its presence in many of the region’s most dynamic travel markets. Growth was driven by continued momentum across Türkiye, rapid expansion in India and increasing investment across emerging destinations including the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), where improving tourism fundamentals and rising international interest continue to create long-term development opportunities.

Wyndham now operates over 750 hotels across EMEA, with over 99,000 rooms, reinforcing the region’s role as a key engine for sustainable growth.

Across EMEA, travellers are increasingly looking beyond traditional gateway cities in favour of authentic cultural experiences, destination-led leisure travel and previously undiscovered markets. At the same time, domestic travel remains resilient, governments continue investing in tourism economies and owners are increasingly seeking globally recognised brands capable of delivering technology, distribution and operational expertise.

These trends continue to underpin Wyndham’s regional strategy, with the Company leveraging the strength of its 25-brand portfolio to expand across high-growth midscale, upscale and mixed-use developments, ensuring the right brands are introduced into the right markets at the right time.

“EMEA remains one of the most dynamic regions in global hospitality. What we’re seeing today is growth coming from a broader range of markets and segments than ever before, from established destinations such as Türkiye to fast-growing markets across India, and Central Asia.

Travellers are increasingly seeking new destinations and richer local experiences, while demand for Europe’s traditional tourism powerhouses remains strong. Rather than shifting, the travel map is expanding, with guests increasingly combining established destinations with secondary cities and emerging markets that offer authenticity and a stronger connection to local culture. While owners are looking for partners that can help them capture demand and navigate a rapidly evolving marketplace. That combination is creating opportunities across the region, whether it’s hotels in emerging tourism destinations, expansion into secondary cities or growing interest in branded residences.

The momentum we’ve seen in the first half of the year reflects the strength of those underlying market fundamentals. It also reinforces our belief that some of the most exciting growth opportunities in hospitality over the coming years will come from markets that, until recently, were considered outside the traditional development spotlight.” – Dimitris Manikis, President EMEA, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts

Türkiye: Deepening Market Leadership Across Every Travel Segment

Türkiye remained Wyndham’s most active development market during the first half of 2026, accounting for the majority of openings across EMEA and reinforcing its position as the country’s leading international hotel group.

Supported by domestic travel, sustained international visitor demand and continued investment in tourism infrastructure, Wyndham continued expanding across business hubs, resort destinations and emerging regional markets. The first half saw the opening of hotels across a broad cross-section of the Company’s portfolio, including TRYP by Wyndham Istanbul Maltepe, Ramada Encore by Wyndham Midyat, Ramada by Wyndham Erzincan Ergan, Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Adana, Ramada by Wyndham Düzce, Wyndham Garden Antalya Konyaaltı and Turkiye’s first Ramada Residences by Wyndham Istanbul Haramidere.

The breadth of these openings reflects Wyndham’s diversified brand strategy in Türkiye, where demand spans corporate travel, coastal resorts, cultural tourism and domestic leisure. By expanding across multiple market segments rather than concentrating on a single destination or brand, Wyndham continues to strengthen its leadership position while providing owners with brands tailored to the unique characteristics of each region.

Europe and The CIS: Expanding Across Established Leisure Markets and Emerging Tourism Destinations

Wyndham continued to strengthen its footprint across Europe and the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) during the first half of 2026, expanding across both established leisure destinations and fast-emerging tourism markets as travellers increasingly seek authentic experiences beyond Europe’s traditional gateways.

Recent openings reflected the breadth of Wyndham’s portfolio and the diversity of travel demand across the region. In Southern Europe, the opening of Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro Algarve in Portugal and Wyndham Mallorca Portocolom Resort in Spain reinforces Wyndham’s continued investment in premium resort destinations, while the opening of Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Tashkent underscores the Company’s growing confidence in the CIS, as countries like Uzbekistan establishes itself among world’s top five tourism growth markets.

Development momentum also continued through new signings across Europe and the CIS, including Wyndham Fergana and TRYP by Wyndham Tashkent Olympic City in Uzbekistan, Ramada Residences by Wyndham Qerret in Albania and the Ramada by Wyndham Danube Waterfront Golubac – the first Ramada in Serbia. Together, these additions demonstrate Wyndham’s ability to deploy the right brands across resort, urban, lifestyle and mixed-use developments while strengthening its presence in markets with long-term tourism and investment potential.

Rapid growth in India

India continues to rank among Wyndham’s fastest-growing markets globally, reinforcing its position as one of the Company’s largest development markets worldwide. Backed by a rapidly expanding travel and tourism sector, growing middle-class mobility and resilient domestic demand, India continues to present significant long-term opportunities

During the first half of 2026, Wyndham continued its expansion into pilgrimage cities through the opening of Ramada Encore by Wyndham Ayodhya, and opened another destination in Nepal with Ramada by Wyndham Itahari Pashupati Marg.

The Company’s development momentum continued with 11 new hotel signings across India, reflecting growing owner confidence in Wyndham’s brands and the long-term outlook for the country’s hospitality sector. New agreements span high-growth destinations including Vrindavan, one of India’s most significant pilgrimage destinations; Jaipur, the Pink City and one of the country’s leading cultural and leisure markets; and Khajuraho Airport Road, the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Khajuraho Group of Monuments. With a robust pipeline spanning established cities and emerging destinations, Wyndham continues to strengthen its presence across India’s next generation of travel markets, bringing globally recognised brands to locations where long-term demand continues to accelerate.

Middle East: Long-Term Confidence Underpins Continued Investment

While the Middle East continues to navigate a complex geopolitical environment, the safety and wellbeing of Wyndham’s guests, associates, franchisees and partners remains the Company’s highest priority alongside continued support for tourism in the region.

Wyndham continued to strengthen its presence in the Middle East during the first half of 2026, signing five new projects across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The region remains an important long-term growth market, supported by continued investment in tourism, infrastructure and real estate development.

A key milestone was Wyndham’s partnership with Grovy Developers to introduce Ramada Residences by Wyndham at Dubai Islands, supporting the Company’s continued expansion in the branded residences sector.

As demand for branded residential living continues to grow, Wyndham is helping make the sector more accessible by offering developers and buyers a broader range of branded residence options across multiple segments. With brands spanning midscale, lifestyle and upscale, the Company is extending the benefits of branded living beyond the traditional luxury segment, combining globally recognised brands, hospitality expertise and long-term value for both residents and developers.
